Sherry Matovu - New Kid on The Block
Good things go to those who truly love them, the same applies to this sexy diva who goes by the names of Sherry Matovu, Born 20 years to Mr and Mrs Matovu who still live as husband and wife. Sherry is the second born in the family of six children. She went to Nateete Primary School and later enrolled at Lutembe SSS and ended at Crane Institute where she got a Diploma in multimedia.
Music wise, Sherry is now the name talked about in and outside town because of her afro-beat tune titled "Onkakasiza" which is blended with dancehall beats that have set ugandans ablaze leaving none seated. Her "Onkakasiza" song has captured almost all local radio stations and city clubs... Ugandan Musicians Club talked to her and this was her childhood music story: I have always been in MDD classes and in my secondary life, I was the entertainment prefect, Ssemakula of Eagles really inspired me and this made me add extra efforts in my music career.

In the year 2008, I bought a song from one Cossy, which never worked out and I decided to compose my own music, early 2009, I met one Tadius Katumba who introduced me to lots of musicians who encouraged me, I was later chosen by Sylvia Namugenyi to act as her backup singer / dancer. Early this year, I again composed two songs from Erycom Studios but I feared to put them on air for I had no hopes that one of them could be a hit. Just in April, thats when I took my music to promoters and for real, the songs are gona work out since people have so far loved "Onkakasiza" of which I am now shooting a video for.
I call upon all music lovers everywhere to lay their turst in me for am gona make it to the peak since I sing social, economic and family / personal issues, Just go to http://www.ugandanradio.com and request for my songs, Jah Bless.. and you

Jose Chameleone and World Cup Organisers.........Whats the Deal??
All Ugandans are happy for this but our local musicians may think that its a lie and if not this guy uses witch doctors to be a star. Think no more but just thank God that Uganda has a talented artiste who sings what touches broken hearts. Infact we should consider Chameleone as Uganda's Export since he fetches tax for the government in all his local and international concerts. Anyway he is still Africa's third most talented artiste and so wonder no more. Ugandan Musicians' Club spotted the star with some of the world cup organisers, Chameloen was so busy rehersing for his world cup video. On the scene, we witnessed that the video was to be shot by Market Makers am International film company, Its said that FIFA sent a group of people to meet Chameleone since he is among a few musicians listed to grace the soon to start world game in June, Lets wait for the video and indeed this is a great achievement Uganda has gained this year.

Goodlyfe's Rwanda Concert Yields Total Loss To One Cobra
The concert last night, at which Ugandan hit-maker duo, Mozey and Weasal featured in Kigali has been described as a flop due to poor organization. Some revelers blamed the organizers for the mess, saying they did not get value for their money.
Radio and Weasel were performing alongside Rwanda’s local artists in a concert dubbed, bye-bye vacancy. The much acclaimed Ugandan artists, were invited specifically for the  Show, but did not appear until 1.20am to the chagrin of most participants who had been waiting for them. On the stage, the musicians did not sing their numbers to the end, police stopped the concert and the Ugandan artists were chased away.

“There is no need of wasting our time here,” Radio was heard by reporters telling   Weasel while leaving the show ground.  This happened after a fight broke out between Cobra, the concert organizer, and local artist, Skyz of KGB group. The KGB group was was delaying on the stage forcing Cobra to throw them out of the concert. Cobra owns Cadillac, the biggest nightclub in Kigali.  Back in Uganda, Mozey and Weasal are badly needed by police over the shooting of top musician Bebe Cool now admitted in a Kampala hospital. It is not to say they shot him but police wants them to help unravel the mystery.
